Election in UK - First televison debate between three leaders

Thursday 15th april was a debate sent live on tv. It was the first 90 minutes television debate out of three, and was produced by ITV. The main topic of the debate was domestic politics. The debate was between three leaders; Gordon Brown, David Vameron and Nick Clegg.

All the leaders were a bit nervous in the start, but they got in line after debating or "attacking" each other. However, Clegg was the winner of the debate. He had 43% of the votes, Cameron got 26% of the votes and Gordon Brown only got 20% of the votes. This was suprising, but this is how it is.

Clegg won the debate because he had new thoughts. He gave people hope and wanted a change, just like Mr Obama. I think that was the reason why he won the debate.

Federal Parliament's Question Time

On Wednesday 24 February started a debate at the House of Commons about lack of things in the UK’s system. Some of the topics discussed were youth unemployment, economic situation in Scotland, rail services, number of job opportunities, public expenditure and search and rescue services. After the debaters were finished Mr. Speaker allowed them to ask questions to Mr. President.

There are different definitions on what “question time” is and some confusions let people think that it’s just asking questions in parliament. Question time is when a member of parliament asks questions to Government and Prime Minister. The ministers are obliged to answer their questions. Basically question time is quite popular in the UK, and occurs nearly daily while parliament is sitting.
In the start the debate room was quite empty with few debaters. Within half an hour the room was nearly full. Many well known politicians had arrived and Mr. Prime Minister was ready for the question time. Before the question time the debaters discussed important topics such as youth unemployment, economic situation in Scotland, rail services, number of job opportunities, public expenditure and search and rescue services. After that debate Mr. Prime Minister came to the microphone and started with a tribute to soldiers who had lost their life in Afghanistan. Mr. Prime Minister was ready to get asked questions after his tribute to the dead soldiers.

to be continued...

Senior project - Michael Jackson

Michael Jackson is my inspiration and my ideal. I got interested in dance when I saw his performance on tv. I decided to start dancing and today am a dancer for one of the best streetdance group in Scandinavia. One of my dreams was to meet him once.

I have huge respect for MJ and wish I ever could met him. He died on thursday, June 25, 2009. MJ was I lovely person and helped lots of poor people. He has seen many bad days in his life, but I hope he is in good condition where ever he is now.

MJ was supposed to have round about 50 performances at the O2 arena in 2009-2010, but was killed two days before his first performance. I've got many questions in my head am wondering. therefor I would find out more about his death cause I still belive that he has been killed. I do also want to know about his whole life story. How he struggled, how his family treated him, why he wanted to become white and lots more.

This idea of having a senior project is really nice. I've got a chance to work with what I want. This is really a project I will work hard on cause its time to get answer on questions I've been wondering for a long time.

Michael Jackson was the king of pop and will remain the king. No one can beat his music. His music had meaning and changed the whole world. Am very excited to work on MJ project.
